Birth Services:
My goal is to provide you with the emotional and physical support throughout your labor process. We begin by meeting 1-2 times prior to the birth. This allows time to review your birth plan and for us to build a rapport, to optimize your upcoming birth.
I will be on call 2 weeks prior to the anticipated "due date" and 2 weeks after the "due date". I do not take more than 2-3 births per month. My birth package includes:
My goal in my postpartum services is to support and nurture you during this beautiful time of adjustment. Being a parent for the first time or tenth time can be joyful, yet exhausting and overwhelming. Providing services to you, will allow you to embrace this time with less angst and worry, enabling you to enjoy your baby. I work in 3 hour increments (minimum), with additional hours available for a fee.

- Up to 2 prenatal visits (1-2 hours)
- Prenatal phone consultations
- On call 24/7, 2 weeks before/after your due date
- Birth plan preparation
- Continuous labor support
- Remain approximately 2 hours postpartum
- Breastfeeding education and support
- Infant care and education
- Written birth report
- Assistance with labor/birth photography
- 1 postnatal visit (1-2 hours)
- Phone consultations as needed, up to six weeks postpartum

- Provide emotional support
- Opportunities for rest and family bonding
- Nurture/support the new mom with recovery
- Education on infant care
- Available for questions when not providing in home services
- Sibling care and attention
- Provide resources and connections to the community
- Night-time care (depending on availability)
- Support during your hospital stay
- Heavy cleaning
- Give medical advice (I will refer you out if the need arises)
- Being in the home alone, one adult must always be present
- Do not transport the client or family members in my car
